My experience with unique was excellent!!!
Scott came to my home for a second opinion after another guy (different company) told me I had a cracked heat exchange in the furnace. Scott came out for FREE and spent well over an hour taking apart the furnace and checking it extensively – all as a free second opinion!!. He found no cracks and gave me tons of information which I always appreciate! He was also really personable and explained everything so well.
I also ended up hiring Unique to add some heat supply and return vents to our basement. Scott and Jeff arrived right on time (actually a couple minutes early) and finished in less time than they estimated AND under the estimated cost.
I can not recommend this company enough!!!

We have been customers since 2005 when you replaced our furnace. We have had routine checkups in the Spring and Fall each year since. Your Technician Mark was here on March 15, 2011 and did a thorough inspection of the furnace and air conditioner, providing feedback on his findings in the professional manner we have come to value and expect.
The following day I happened to go into our basement area late in the afternoon and found water on the floor in the furnace room where the water heater is also located. It was not clear where it was coming from but when I noticed a Unique Indoor Comfort sticker on the water heater, we called to see if you could help us. We were pleased when you said you would have someone to our house within a half hour. In the meantime I began to vacuum water from the floor and carpet.
TJ arrived and identified the source as the water heater. He shut the water off, got things under control, and disconnected the water heater, ready for a replacement. When asked, he also checked and gave us a recommendation for a service to help with the cleanup and drying out process as well as providing information and a quote to replace the old water heater. The clean up service contacted us and arrived later that evening and started to work.
The next morning Mark arrived and took out the old water heater and began to install the new one Nick delivered. Again, as expected, Mark was very thorough and professional. He worked quickly and efficiently, explained everything he was doing, and got hot water flowing again by early afternoon. He left things clean and neat when he was finished. The clean up and drying process will be finished by tomorrow. We are very fortunate and appreciative to have been able to receive your help so quickly. Thank you.
Nick, TJ and Mark were all friendly, informative, easy to deal with, and completely professional in everything they did. Please pass along our compliments and appreciation to each of them. Unique first came out to do maintenance on our previous furnace and hot water tank, which had not been done by the previous owner for at least 5 years. The heat exchanger had cracks in it, and thus we asked for an estimate for replacing the furnace. They sent out Greg, an engineer, to walk us through what we wanted and would be the best choice for us. Due to many factors, including tax credits, we went for one of the high-end carrier furnaces.
First of all, I thought the customer service for unique is top-notch. They clearly explain what they are selling and do not try and oversell. They are extremely courteous and really go the extra mile from when they walk in for the first time till they walk out. Also, they have real expertise and that makes a big difference- this is not a simple task and the solution is not cheap. I am really happy with the install, Mark and Joy worked a long, hard day and more. They fixed some problems outside the scope of the job as a courtesy (ie leaky pipe in hot water tank). Lastly, the new furnace is insanely better than the piece of junk they pulled out. The clunks, whines and groans of the furnace are gone. This is the type of company you want in your rolodex.

You may recall, last Saturday, your team of installers made a stop at my house, bringing me a new Christmas present. It was a new furnace. Obviously, this was expected because we had spoken the prior day. Let me say this — those guys are great. Good sense of humor, professional, on top of their game. They came in, did their job wonderfully and left. They fixed my humidifier as well. They fixed a major circulation issue (the air vent was packed so tightly with lint and dust, Joy was almost not able to get it off. He needed a wire brush. He told me that he’s not seen anything like that before). Thanks for all around great service!

I am writing to express our appreciation to Unique Indoor Comfort. My friend and neighbor, RL, highly recommended Unique to us last fall for our heating and air conditioning maintenance.
After a routine maintenance of our heating units, the technician made some recommendations for repairs and offered us a service agreement contract. In addition, we also had a need for better air circulation and purity, and presented us with information about an air purification system. We later had the system installed and have been very pleased with it.
Most significantly, we have had an ongoing concern with excessive warmth in areas of our home, making it unbearable in the summer. We discussed the specifics at length with the sales engineer. He thoroughly assessed our specific problem, and presented us with several options. He was very knowledgeable and sincere in his presentation.
We chose the option of having an addition air conditioning unit added. During this three-day job, the installers were punctual and professional, as well as neat and clean. Your sales engineer made himself available to us during this time, and in the days that followed, for any questions we had.
We have been very pleased with the quality of service that Unique has provided us. We appreciate your commitment to your customers, consistently providing us with prompt and courteous service.

At the price of this high-end unit, I understood the dramatic claims by you and the marketing literature may have been somewhat enhanced with a couple of yards of bovine feces.
My apologies. Everything you said is true. The house is now warmed evenly throughout every room and both floors. The best news is that our heating bill is about $200.00 less per month than our neighbors’, and this 35 year-old development of 74 houses are comparable in square feet and amenities.
